Wood. Fire. Pynk. Story.

I’m Tallal Ibad — an artist, storyteller, and chainsaw carver working under the name Sawtistic.

I carve characters and sculptures from wood, using fire, texture, and color to tell stories that live somewhere between imagination and community. What begins as raw material becomes something people can gather around — something meaningful.

Sawtistic is my artist persona, but it’s also how I move through the world: carving, creating, and sharing work that connects people through story and emotion.

How I Got Here

I immigrated to the United States as a child, served in the U.S. Air Force, and spent years traveling across the country and abroad. Along the way, I learned discipline, observation, and respect for craft.

Chainsaw carving came later — unexpectedly — and quickly became a calling. It combined physical labor, precision, imagination, and presence in a way nothing else had.

Over time, the work grew beyond sculpture.

Why Pynk

Pynk is not just a color in my work.
It represents honesty, courage, kindness, and emotional truth.

In the world I’m building — the Pynkverse — color reflects what we feel inside. When a character is aligned with their best self, they shine in Pynk.

That idea carries into the real world through my carvings and experiences.

Art, Story, and Community

Why I Do This

I believe art should be felt, not just viewed.
I believe stories help us understand ourselves and each other.
And I believe communities grow stronger when they create something together.

If you’ve ever felt pulled toward art that made you pause, wonder, or remember something you forgot you knew — you’re in the right place.
